- [S697] Marriage is approximate based on Dolly's DOB and the birth of their oldest child. Rutha was born in 1834 in Alabama, and Dolly would have been 21 in 1833 so that fits perfectly. William Burt was in Alabama by that date and Rutha was born in Alabama so Alabama is the obvious location.
