Emma E. Crawford was born on 29 September 1869 in Edgefield County, South Carolina.1
Emma married Dr. George Warren ABNEY, son of James Madison ABNEY and Martha Livingston, in 1885 in Abbeville County, South Carolina. Through about 1883 George had been practicing law, but from that point he resumed the practice of medicine.
Emma E. Crawford and Dr. George Warren ABNEY moved from Abbeville, South Carolina to Offerman, Pierce County, Georgia, circa 1890 Their second dauther, Mattie, was born there. They were only there a year or two before moving on to Florida by 1894 when their third daughter was born.
