Amanda married first Isaac Denton circa 1863 in Texas.

Amanda married second Lorenzo Dow Woolley on 15 December 1868 in Bibb County, Alabama.

Amanda Sweet KILLINGSWORTH died on 31 August 1927 in Hearne, Robertson County, Texas, at age 84. She was buried in Texas State Cemetery, Austin, Travis County, Texas.

Her obituary appeared 12 September 1927 in the newspaper, published in Longview, Texas. FORMER RESIDENT OF GREGG COUNTY DIES AT HEARNE.
When on Tuesday evening, 30 AUG, at Austin, Mrs. L. WOOLLEY answered the death summons and went unto eternal rest, after three weeks upon a bed of suffering, a long and useful life was terminated. Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, the body was conveyed to the Confederate Cemetery for interment after Rev. Bryan, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Austin, had paid a fittingly beautiful tribute to the deceased, who since uniting with the Methodist church 73 years ago, had made manifest faith that was clean and simple, in an experience that was rich and assuring.

Amanda Killingsworth WOOLLEY was born in Bibb County, Alabama, 2 MAY 1843. Her parents, John S. KILLINGSWORTH and Emaline Abney KILLINGSWORTH, came to Texas in 1846, settling near Longview and identifying themselves with the substantial citizens of their community who were the sturdy pioneer stock of those early days.

Mr. and Mrs. Killingsworth reared a family of thirteen children, four boys and nine girls. The first death in the family was that of a son, Leroy, who died during the Civil War. Mr. and Mrs. Killingsworth and nine of the children surviving Leroy passed away as time went on, leaving three of the sisters, Mrs. Jan MONGHON of Austin, Mrs. Julia Ann ODEN of Longview and Mrs. Woolley to live a ripe old age. Mrs. Moughon and Mrs. Oden, who are 94, and 86, are still living.15 DEC 1927, marks the 59th year since the marriage of Miss Amanda KILLINGSWORTH to Mr. Lorenzo WOOLLEY who is a native of Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. Woolley spent the major portion of their marriage at Longview, residing there continuously with the exception of two years spent in Cook County at Dexter. The long residence among people loving and beloved, was always a sweet memory after they came to Hearne six years ago to be with their daughter, Mrs. J. Felton LANE, because of Mrs. Woolley's failing health. Two children born to Mr. and Mrs. Woolley died many years ago, a daughter in infancy and a son at the age of six years.

Mrs. Woolley was a true southerner, ever devoted to the cause of the Confederacy which her husband espoused during the war between the states, and it was her expressed desire that she be laid to rest in the cemetery where lie so many noble Texans who figured largely in the trials of the "lost cause."

In addition to the aged husband, sisters and daughter of Mrs. Woolley, two great-grandchildren, Jean and John Lane GATLING, share the sorrow occasioned by her passing. A host of friends join in sympathy for the family.
