Margaret BROWN was dean of women at Judson College between 1908 and 1931 in Marion, Alabama. Judson was a private women's college founded in 1838, making it the fifth oldest women's college in the country. It suspended operations in 2021.
When Maggie retired she was planning to make her home in Drewry, Monroe county, but she had a heart attack and died while visiting a niece in Gulfport.2

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Eunice Keys and Lucile Yeager Scholarship Fund, Inc., University of Montevallo, P. O. Box 761, West Blocton, Al. 35184 . . .1 " She was buried in West Scottsville Cemetery, Bibb County, Alabama.
