Hutchinson, 61, born North Carolina.

Clarissa married John Franklin Hiram Gibson on 3 June 1846 in Sumter County, Alabama.

The Gibsons first settled in Anderson County, Texas and were there on the 1860 census. John was 42 years old and Catherine was 43. They said there that they married within the year, which is not true. They then settled in Henderson County, Texas where they appear in 1870. John does not appear in the 1880 census so he must have died before then.

Clarissa Catherine ABNEY died after 1880 in Anderson County, Texas.

Joel married Elizabeth Holebrook on 13 September 1831 in Marion County, Georgia. Joel had moved from Edgefield County, South Carolina to Meriweither County, Georgia between 1820 and 1830. By 1850 he had moved his family to Mississippi.3

Joel B. ABNEY and Elizabeth Holebrook appeared as head of household on a census enumerated 1860 in Slate Springs, Calhoun County, Mississippi. The household was listed as Joel and Elizabeth Abney, their daughter Caroline Cooper and her children Mary, George, Emmaline and Elephar (Elizabeth?). In 1870 only his wife, Elizabeth, and George Cooper appear in the household with Joel.3

Joel B. ABNEY died on 21 February 1881 in Calhoun County, Mississippi, at age 71.1,2 He was buried in Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery, Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi.2
