Burial will follow in the Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Sanford was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Sanford; two brothers, and six sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Gloris May, Gloriana (Bobby) Bayless, June Huguley, and Doris Little; one son, George (Ann) Smith, all of Prattville; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Thompson, of Houston; and one brother, Grover Hunt, of Atlanta. Pallbearers will be Keith May, Steve May, Chris May, Eddie Evans, Joel Huguley, David Little, and George Fisher. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m."¹

According to Mr. Albert Owens of Prattville, who is connected with the Owens of the ccmctcry, Decie was previously marricd to a Neil Ful1er. They had children and divorced and she married an Alford. One of her daughters by Ful1er is Mrs. Katie Barber, 264 Walnut Street, Prattville, AL 36067, telephone (334) 365­7900. Neither the Alfords nor the Fullers had any ties to the Owens family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 1982 at 2 p.m. from Prattville Community Church with Rev. Bobby Hicks officiating. Burial in Owens Cemetery with Ridout’s Prattville Chapel directing. Decie Hunt Alford was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Talmadge Alford. Survivors include four daughters, Katie L. Barber, Georgia B.      Eunice King GIBBONS, daughter of George Washington GIBBONS and Harriett E. Tatum, was born on 7 February 1875 in Autauga County, Alabama.

Eunice married William Neal WHITE, son of Alfred A. WHITE and Sarah Hester HUNT, on 7 January 1892 in Autauga County, Alabama. From the 22 Jan 1892 Prattville Progress: At the residence of the bride's father, George W. Gibbons, on the 7th instant, were bound in the solemn ties of holy wedlock, Mr. William N. White and Miss Unice K. Gibbons.^1,2
