     John Thomas Oswalt was born on 2 March 1792 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina.1

James David WEAVER

     James David WEAVER, son of George WEAVER Sr., was born circa 1789 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina.1 He was also known as David Jr. to distinguish him from his uncle David Weaver, Sr.1

James married first Barbara Price circa 1814 in Lexington County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Capt. George Price of Lexington county. They had five children.

James David WEAVER moved from South Carolina to Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, after 1824 where they settled among relatives and related families.

David and Barbara lived near Vance. Their former land in townhip 21-S Range 7-W Section 27 in the location of the present day Mercedes Benz motor manufacturing plant.1

James married second Eady Sellers circa 1831 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

James David WEAVER died in 1869 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

James left a will dated 21 December 1869 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. WILL -- Tuscaloosa County, Alabama Deed Book 10, Pg.321 states: David Weaver, dec'd.
